Customer Analytics Propensity Analysis

Overview
This template lets you identify customers to target for promotional offers of selected product categories. It does so by learning from the behavior of your customers in the past, both when there was a promotion running and when there was not. Using the learned model, the template predicts how likely it is for a customer to make a purchase from the selected product categories during the next promotional period. The template uses a dataset of your customers’ purchase history prepared with the Data Pre-processing template, which can be downloaded here. Using this Propensity Analysis template, you may:
- Select the product categories for which promotions are run
- Select the variables used to predict customer purchases of the product categories under promotion
- Identify customers with the highest propensity to purchase the product categories under promotion
- Identify customers to whom more than one promotional product category can be offered
